The Sailor Special Nib Fountain Pen with Naginata Togi Medium nib represents one of the most important branches of Sailor's nib-making tradition. Built around a full-size black resin body with cool silver-tone trim, the pen places nearly all of its collector significance in the hand-finished 21k gold writing point.
The Naginata Togi was developed to reproduce some of the expressive flexibility of brush writing in a fountain pen. Its elongated tipping geometry changes line width according to writing angle: held more upright, it produces a finer line; lowered toward the page, the contact area broadens and the stroke becomes wider. The silver trim keeps the exterior deliberately restrained so that the unusual nib remains the technical centerpiece.
In Medium form, the Naginata Togi balances everyday legibility with a clearly expressive character. It is not simply a broad conventional nib; the shape is designed around angle-dependent variation and controlled movement. Sailor's proprietary cartridge-converter system makes the pen straightforward to fill and clean.

Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:
Shipping Rates: International shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package and the destination country.
Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
