The Stipula Etruria Dragon Scales Fountain Pen brings Jonathan Brooks resin to one of Stipula's most recognizable silhouettes. Limited to 88 pieces, the material combines deep brown, black, copper, and fiery red tones that shift across the polished surface, giving each pen its own distribution of color and pattern.
The Etruria form is substantial without losing the soft curves that define the collection. Silver-tone trim frames the Brooks resin rather than competing with it, while the hand-poured material ensures that no two examples display the same arrangement of color. The result is a limited edition whose individuality comes directly from the resin rather than from applied decoration.
A #6 stainless steel nib is offered here in Fine and Medium. The cartridge/converter filling system accepts standard international cartridges and bottled ink through a compatible converter, keeping the pen practical for regular use while preserving the collector appeal of the limited material.
Stipula's Etruria collection draws its name from the historic region of Tuscany and has long served as one of the Florentine maker's signature forms. Dragon Scales pairs that established Italian profile with contemporary American resin artistry, creating a collaboration of material and design that feels distinctly modern while remaining recognizably Stipula.
