The Wancher Sekai World Tree Ebony Fountain Pen places natural material at the center of the writing experience. Its body is shaped from dark ebony, a dense wood prized for its smooth feel, durability, and distinctive grain. Each example carries slight differences in tone and pattern, making the character of the wood an essential part of the pen rather than a decorative afterthought.
World Tree was the first model in Wancher's Sekai collection, a series built around the idea of connection through art. The name draws on the recurring image of a great tree linking different realms and communities across mythology. Wancher translates that theme into a restrained, clipless form whose natural material gives the pen an immediate tactile presence.
The flat-ended profile and minimal Japanese design keep the silhouette clean, while the ebony ranges from deep brown to nearly black depending on the light. Because the body is made from natural wood, variations in grain and color are expected and give each pen its own visual identity.
This example is fitted with a #6 JoWo stainless-steel nib in Extra Fine. The narrow point is well suited to small handwriting, detailed annotation, and writers who prefer a controlled line. A threaded cap provides a secure closure, while the balanced wooden body remains comfortable for longer writing sessions.
The pen fills through standard international cartridges or a converter for bottled ink. That widely supported system makes the World Tree straightforward to maintain and easy to integrate into an existing fountain pen collection.

U.S. Orders:
Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for all U.S. orders over $20, including Alaska and Hawaii.
Standard Shipping Fee: For U.S. orders below $20, a flat shipping fee of $5.99 will be applied.
International Orders:
Shipping Rates: International shipping rates are calculated based on the weight of the package and the destination country.
Exclusions: Currently, we do not offer shipping to Russia and South Africa.
