The Yard O Led Viceroy Grand Victorian Fountain Pen is one of the most substantial expressions of the British silversmith's writing instrument tradition. Its Grand-sized body is fashioned from solid 925 sterling silver and finished with the elaborate Victorian pattern, a hand-chased decoration created through thousands of individual hammer-and-punch impressions. The result is a surface with real depth and variation rather than a mechanically repeated texture.
Craftsmanship & Design
The Victorian finish is closely associated with Yard O Led's most decorative work. Each pen is chased by hand, so no two surfaces are completely identical. The dense scrollwork catches light across the sterling silver while also giving the larger Grand body a tactile quality that distinguishes it from polished or machine-engraved silver pens.
